Each Spring, the Women's Center honors the Student of Achievement Awardees. These students have worked hard to promote diversity and equality, have demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities, excelled in their school work, and served as strong roles models for their peers.

Isabel (Izzy) Brady
She/Her
Izzy graduates in December in Environmental Engineering. She currently serves as the HEART Initiative’s President—a student organization working to raise awareness around human trafficking in the Gallatin Valley and beyond. Izzy joined when she was a freshman and has helped HEART sponsor many successful events over the past few years featuring law enforcement, victim advocates, survivors and community resources. Izzy volunteers with Heart of the Valley while maintaining an impressive GPA and states that by educating others about human trafficking, she hopes to “create a ripple effect that will lead survivors out of trafficking and prevent others from entering.”
Tyler Cook
He/Him
Tyler graduates in May with a degree in Sociology (Criminology) and Psychology. While at MSU, Tyler has been involved with Common Voices through the Student Commons, been a student advocate with Campus Civil Rights, a Victim Advocate Intern for the prosecutor’s office and a First Generation Student Ally and co-president. He worked with Bienvenidos for their clothing drive and the HRDC Warming Center. Tyler plans to pursue advanced degrees in Mental Health Advocacy and Global Social Work. He notes that: “…the development of my cultural humility and ability to have deep empathy for others was fostered in my volunteer experiences.”

Anna Erickson
She/Her
Anna completes her degree in Neuroscience and Psychology in May. Her work with oSTEM includes serving as Secretary and Co-President where she helps promote opportunities and inclusion for queer individuals in STEM fields. Anna served as an Ambassador with the Student Commons to organize events increasing access for neurodiverse individuals. She coaches skiing for 2nd graders through the Bozeman Ski Foundation and works at the Country Bookshelf. Anna has published work with colleagues in her field, presented papers at professional conferences and has received numerous recognitions for her outstanding work, one of the most notable being a Barry Goldwater Scholarship.

Amanda Fulton
She/Her
Amanda graduates in May in Global Studies and English Writing. Her name may be familiar as the Editor in Chief of MSU’s Exponent where she has worked her entire college career. Amanda serves on the Gallatin Valley Watershed Council and is a representative on the Presidential Convocation Committee. She recently was a panelist for the Montana Free Press where she discussed Gen Z Journalism. Amanda most recently received the Christy Foundation Scholarship for Community Service and Leadership and the Hicks Creative Writing Scholarship. Her work with the Exponent has helped Amanda hone her leadership skills and strong sense of community.

Apryl Little
She/Her
Apryl graduates in May in English Literature and Writing. At MSU she served as a Peer Victim Advocate with the VOICE Center, a Survivor Funding Board member through Students Against Sexual Assault, and a member of Student Advocates for Reproductive Rights, and of TRIO, noting that without these clubs and resources, her career at MSU would not have been as successful. Her work with the Women’s Center gave her “professional skills, a larger sense of confidence, community and broader world perspective.” Apryl will pursue law school and feels drawn to a career where she can help people navigate complicated systems.

Briana Lynch
She/Her
Briana is a senior in Agricultural Education and will graduate in December. Briana has served as the President of MSU’s Collegiate Future Farmers of American (FFA) chapter, as a Sisterhood Cabinet member for Chi-Omega-Sigma Beta Chapter, and has been a Make-A-Wish volunteer for three years. Briana is passionate about Ag education and making sure that women are fully represented in a traditionally male-dominated field. Her role as Director of Career and Personal Development with her sorority has informed Briana’s vision of the importance of promoting equity and representation in Agriculture to help women see themselves as capable and effective leaders.

Sasha Maguire
She/Her
Sasha graduates in May in Graphic Design. Her collaboration with Undergraduate Scholars Program and their funding cemented the success of her Women Who Design project centering on interviews, storytelling and connecting design with equality, representation and community engagement for women who were previously invisible beyond their graphic designs. Sasha organized and hosted the Women Who Design Community Night exhibition at Echo Arts to highlight female designers. She was part of a team who researched, created and projected large format slides onto Bozeman buildings to highlight their hidden histories and led a panel discussion for a Women’s Center Sack Lunch Seminar.

Siena Quesada
She/Her
Siena graduates in December in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. Siena is the President of Student Advocates for Reproductive Rights and previously served as Vice President. Transferring to MSU her sophomore year, she jumped right into the MSU community as a Peer Advisor, a Women’s Center staff member and by joining SARR to provide knowledge and access to reproductive healthcare for MSU students. A Sex Ed 2.0 panel discussion Siena coordinated focused on communication, healthy sexual behaviors, and access to care and birth control at MSU. Siena notes: I want to amplify voices that are typically ignored.”

Liv Reich
She/Her
Liv will graduate in May with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in the Honors College. While at MSU, Liv has founded and serves as President of the Neurodiversity Undergraduate Society and she is in the process of creating the AFAB and Women’s Health and Wellness Association. She has volunteered with the Equine Therapy Veteran’s Program, Windhorse Equine Learning Program and Co-founded a community walk and talk program through Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness Initiatives. Liv plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician bridging biomedical innovation with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Olivia Roman
She/Her
Olivia completes a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and Criminology in May. She serves as a Student Advocate with Campus Civil Rights, is the Vice President and Historian of Fuerza Latinx, Co-President of the First-Generation Student Association, and a Service Saturday Leader. Among many other volunteer activities while at MSU, Olivia has worked with the Restoration of Eagle Mount’s Recreational School of Disability, the College “M” project, HRDC’s Warming Center, Bienvenidos, and the Gallatin Valley Foodbank. Olivia completed an internship with Gallatin County’s Coroner’s Office last summer; her ultimate goal is to study medicine and become a Forensic Pathologist.
