The MSU Yellowstone County Horticulture program offers information and resources to individuals seeking guidance about home insect and pest control; fruit and vegetable garden care; landscaping and lawn maintenance; soil improvement and insect, disease and plant identification.

MASTER GARDENER INFORMATION
Volunteering, Certification, and Continuing Education
Yellowstone County is now taking registrations for a 2026 Gardening in Montana Master Gardener Course. The course will consist of eight weekly lessons beginning February 23rd through April 13th at the Yellowstone County MSU Extension office in Billings.
